Is the Turkish citizenship by investment program still active?+
Yes, the program is fully active as of today. The minimum investment threshold of $400,000 has been in place since 2022. The only changes that may occur are an increase in the minimum threshold or documentation requirements — both of which are always announced in advance. We monitor government decisions continuously and inform you of any changes that affect your situation.
What is the actual total cost — not just the property price?+
The total cost ranges between $420,000 and $425,000. This includes: the property ($400K+ minimum), title deed transfer tax (4% ≈ $16,000), SPK valuation ($300–$500), attorney fees ($2,000–$3,500), translation and notarization ($500–$1,000), and government fees (~$500). We explain all of these numbers in the first consultation — no surprises after that.

How long does it take from purchase to passport?+
The realistic timeline is 4 to 12 months. Consultation and property selection (1–2 weeks), legal verification and purchase (2–4 weeks), citizenship application filing (2–4 weeks), government review (3–8 months — the longest phase), then passport issuance. Anyone promising less than 4 months is not telling you the truth.
Does the Turkish passport include my entire family?+
Yes. Your spouse and children under 18 all receive Turkish citizenship in the same application — with no additional citizenship fees. Individual passport issuance fees are paid separately and are nominal (approximately $50 per person).
Can I sell the property after getting citizenship?+
Yes, but only after 3 years from the title deed registration date. This is the legally mandated holding period. After that, you are free to sell. Turkish citizenship is not revoked once granted — even if you sell the property. We assist with the sale through our property selling service.
